Honest comparison
Autoranko vs DIY with ChatGPT
A general-purpose chat assistant can write a decent article if you guide it well. The real work is everything around the writing: research, planning, formatting, linking, publishing and maintaining. Here’s an honest look at both approaches.
Do it yourself if…
- You publish occasionally and enjoy the writing process.
- You want total control over every sentence and prompt.
- Your hours are cheaper than a subscription.
Choose Autoranko if…
- You want a publishing rhythm without being the glue.
- Internal links, metadata and old posts keep slipping.
- You want research, writing and publishing in one place.

“DIY” here means a general-purpose AI chat assistant used by hand. Results depend on your skill and time — some people get excellent results this way. Spotted something unfair or outdated? Tell us and we’ll fix it.
The honest verdict
If you publish now and then, enjoy writing and have the hours, a chat assistant plus your own judgment is a perfectly good setup — and it’s more flexible than any focused product. Autoranko earns its price when the bottleneck is the system around the writing: research, a plan, consistent publishing, internal links and upkeep, week after week, without you as the glue.
